Have you ever thought about visiting Scotland? It’s a country of ancient legends, art and culture. Edinburgh is the capital and the heart of Scotland’s traditions.

It is not as famous as other cities in Europe, but it is certainly more fascinating than others. Two districts of the city, the Old town and the New Town, were listed as a UNESCO heritage site in 1995. If you are interested in seeing it, it is probably one of the best cities in Great Britain. Edinburgh castle, Holyrood Palace, St. Giles’ cathedral and the National Gallery are the most famous tourist attractions and symbols of the city.
If you get tired easily, there are a lot of places where you can go to relax and have fun. Princes Street Gardens and Calton Hill are the right sites to go to if you want to have a picnic, or simply sit on the grass having a fantastic view of the oldest part of the city. If you need to buy something, the best place is Princes Street: a very long street where you can spend the whole day going shopping.
To conclude, Edinburgh is a mixture of culture and fun where anyone can spend a few days of holiday abroad.
