There's a man, a weird man, that I can see every day.

At all hours he stands in front of my neighbour's house.

I spend a lot of time watching him: he's there, charmed by the window, with the glance absorbed in those panes, trying to catch a glimpse of some movement. But every time my neighbour appears at the window or goes out, the weird man starts trembling and sweltering, he looks very nervous and finally he runs away. Nevertheless in the last few days the man has started being under my neighbour's house also in the evenings and in nights...and sometimes at midnight he enters the house... I don't know if they are friends now, but I don't think so: this situation is so uncommon, this man is so unusual.

Tonight I'm here at the window, watching my neighbour's house.

It's midnight, I can hear the bells, and the weird man appears: he goes directly to the door.

I can't comprehend what he's doing. But I'm sure he isn't knocking.

He has opened the door, but he remains on the doorway, with his dark lantern in the hand.

Now he enters the house. I can't see him anymore.

I'm nervous, what is he doing? Where is he? What should I do? I don't know, I can't answer any of these question.

I hear a scream! What is happening in the house?? I can't wait another second. I have to call the police!

Only few minutes have been elapsed, they arrive and enter the house.

I wait, always looking out of my window.

Oh, I can catch sight of some lines: it's the police, with the weird man.

They are leading him in jail.

I was right: the weird man was mad.

And he has killed my neighbour.
